Monday 8/3

It was always a dream of my Mom and I's to one day fix up that old barn on the back of our property. It had character and potential, but you had to look closely to find it. It was a horse barn that came with the house when we bought it 10 years ago. I knew it always had a purpose, but I didn't know it back then. Until I started Raybell, I think it finally gave us an excuse to invest the time into changing it up. When we sat down to finally talk about the plans, it felt like it wouldn't happen for years. But, we still had the plan and were ready to take that leap. Until, all of a sudden, everyone was on the same page to start it and get it going. The question was: why wait? There's no reason to wait any longer, we're ready to change it up! Give it some character and find that potential. So, that next Monday, 8/3, they began ripping it apart. They started by taking out the horse stalls, taking off the roof, re-doing the siding, and truly bringing out the bare bones of the barn. It was such a fun transformation and to see it change every single day.

The barn will become a place to sell the flowers from Raybell, and to have customers come in and pick out their own bunches. We will be able to host events, classes, and workshops, while creating an open community to enjoy something in common, flowers!
